Description
This insulating top helps prevent water vapor condensation in the upper half of a flask during the distillation of high-boiling materials. (Protects flask, solutions, and lab in many ways including from stray drafts, from flying glass if implosion occurs, from falling objects; and from thermal strain between top and bottom half of flask during high temperature operations.) With a glass-fabric construction and laced-side opening, its elliptical hole accommodates a 1, 2, and 3-neck flask.
