Similar to 4585, but when used with removable inner dispersion tube and 4 mm TFE stopcock, solvents lighter than the sample can be used. (With the inner dispersion tube removed and the stopcock open, this unit will function using solvents heavier than the sample.) The inner dispersion tube is fitted with an extra coarse (EC) fritted disc. Designed for 1000 ml samples plus approximately 200 ml of solvent.
