Description
Dean-Stark trap has a receiver tube calibrated to 25 ml. Supplied with either a 2 mm glass or 2 mm Teflon® stopcock. Adapter permits two techniques, Soxhlet extraction and Dean Stark azeotropic distillation to be performed in a single process. Allows the determination of both water and dioxins on the sample aliquot without the need for desiccation prior to Soxhlet extraction. Used in EPA Method 8280 (SW-846, 3rd Edition, 1990).
