A vacuum jacketed and strip-silvered head. The head also contains internal bellows to allow for differential expansion of jacket and head. A glass funnel is sealed into the head which directs distillate back into the flask except when manipulated by use of a magnetic solenoid which tilts the funnel and directs the distillate into the product receiver. The take–off tube is fitted with a spherical (18/9) ball joint. The joint sizes (top & bottom) listed below are the most frequently requested combinations. However, any combination can be manufactured at your request.
