Entrance to take-off, has a ball joint (18/9) which is controlled by a magnet sealed into a tube which is sealed thru a standard taper (19/38) joint. By use of an external electromagnetic coil, the magnet is raised or lowered. Standard taper (10/30) joint allows us of 3” immersion thermometer.
