The column has standard taper outer joints at top and bottom and is 300 mm long x 10 mm I.D. The stopcock adapter has
a coarse fritted disc sealed-in at the end of the joint that fits into the column. An inner joint fits into the 50 ml vacuum flask at bottom. All joints are standard taper 14/20.
